Joy G. Sparks 4-H Congress Scholarship Endowment PDF Print E-mail

The Joy G. Sparks 4-H Congress Scholarship Endowment will annually fund two or more trips to National 4-H Congress for 4-Hers who have demonstrated excellence in areas of leadership and/or citizenship. This memorial endowment honors Joy Gooden Sparks.

Joy’s leadership was instrumental in building the Delaware 4-H program into a national powerhouse. Her love for life and all things 4-H touched many over the years and leaves a lasting legacy.

To date, the Joy G. Sparks 4-H Congress Scholarship has been built with over $30,000 in donations from family and friends, large and small, to fittingly fund Congress for 4-Hers of excellence. Joy’s scholarship endowment will remain an open fund and can receive additional contributions at any time.
