Each year the Foundation conducts a number of targeted solicitations to
gain funding that is needed for specific projects. There are different
benefits to each type of funding for the Foundation
and the overall 4-H program. The Foundation has identified areas where
funds are allocated each year
in support of the Delaware 4-H Program. Four target areas were
identified and initial endowments created. Within each area, specific
opportunities exist where family, friends, and supporters can ensure
that funds are available for key activities each year.

Within each area, specific opportunities exist where family, friends, and supporters can ensure that funds are available for key activities each year. To accomplish this, the Foundation is seeking support to establish several endowments.
Each of these endowment funds will be managed in the investment pool,
with only the annual earnings being used to offset the costs of the
program expenditure each year.
