Seth Kurz -

Hi my name is Seth Kurz and I’m a junior at Delaware Military Academy. This is my first National 4-H Conference, and it was awesome! I got to meet people from all over the nation, and made some really good friends. Yea Wyoming! I thought it was cool that we got to go to the capital and that my group, the Delaware group got to talk to our senator and representative. I even saw McCain and he actually looks exactly like he does on TV. I also enjoyed the last day when we ate, danced, and partied on board a ship. Oh and also the food was incredible every day soo good!

If you’ve never gone, you should talk to your leaders and tell them that it’s going to be a great experience and apply to go. When I went I didn’t know anybody, even in my own Delaware group. Luckily our chaperone, Ernie Lopez was there and helped us all make friends quickly, he was great! So if you’re not sure you want to go, because you don’t know anyone, don’t worry you will have the time of your life. Oh yea and also making friends here is easy and fun!

I want to thank Ernie Lopez, my Sheep Club, and the National 4-H Sponsors for letting me be apart of this once in a lifetime memory.
